Bahia Pulp is a company with nearly three decades of tradition in pulp production. Since the company was built until the present day, an enterprising spirit and the determination to provide increasingly high quality products have always been present.

Bahia Pulp produces high-quality alpha and (bleached) kraft dissolving pulp. Complementing technology with respect for the environment and human life, Bahia Pulp manufactures Solucell®, a special pulp used as a raw material for various products, capable of meeting the complex and specific demands of clients worldwide.

Social Responsability:
Externally, Bahia Pulp contributes for the economic and social development of the region where it acts, generating more than four thousand direct and indirect jobs. In all selective processes carried out, it tries to privilege the hiring of people who dwell in the neighboring cities. The company also interacts and contributes with governmental and non-governmental organizations in a clear and ethical way. As an example of this activity, Bahia Pulp is signing a cooperation contract with associations of apiculture and craftsman, enabling the use of its forests for the culture of honey and for the removal of the piassava straw, respectively.
